Jesus and Bible- discipleship

Recently I had been to Church with my American friend. We had a great discussion on Bible and Shrimadbhagvadgita, which inspired me to write this blog. Here I am scribbling the some of the extracts on Discipleships as deciphered by Jesus and I am trying it relate to Shrimadbhagvadgita." And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple": Luke 14:27
Here the refers the CROSS to the obstacles in JATAK's life where, if the person cannot be JESUS's true disciple if he does not aim and learn to overcome his own life's obstacles.
this phrase made me to write in Hindi
" HAAN PRERNA LI HEI MAINE INN PARVATO SE,
MUSHKIL SAMAY MEIN ADAG REHNE KI"
In the same way, any one of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple" Luke 14:33
Here Luke conveys not of giving up the life, but to remain "ALIPT" from the materialistic approach of this world by being in this world....Shrimadbhagvadgita says " Karmanye Vaadhika raste, maa faleshu kadachana....."
karma karte jao, fal ki asha mat rakho.......the same message this phrase conveys...... what a resemblence!!!!This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my discipleship: John 15:8
It is true that if you have to be your father's child then you have to follow his principles. Here we can be a true chileren of our Father ( Lord) only when if we ourselves in equal sense to everybody... After the Church prayers, someone asked me, are you Christian? I said no and told that I follow Hindu religion. TO their astonishment, I was asked, then why I am here, I just said only one sentence " VASUDHEIV KUTUMMBKAM"
This only made me to realize, it doesn't matter, whether you are Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Buddha, all leads to one path.....

AUGMENT YOURSELF

Mind over matters, is one of the widely read columns in "Sunday Times". Recently I read an article on "AFFIRM YOURSELF"- A PHASE OF BEING CONNECTED WITH THE INTERNAL CONSCIOUSNESS. This internal consciousness is nothing other then our SOUL. It really made me to thought over, whether I could perform or not. Then I tried,.
I settled in quite place for 20 minutes in the meditation. Repeating " AHAM BRAHMMASMI" with quite breadth, rejuvaneted me. My energy was flowing through Spinal cord, enriching me to the zenith of my excitement level as if electrons get excited to their
excited state after providing the threshold energy. I am unable to express my experience in words.But, yes, I must say, try it!!!!!!! Its worth linking A JIVA with the an infinite consciousness.

To be a good researcher you need to be............
Professional: Till now, I was like a student even in my profession. Slowly I learnt that research should not be taken at the personal level.
passionate: Many people come and commit that we will do many things, we desire to do this and that, but is the passion and zeal, which makes a researcher to stick to its goal and aim
obedient to your higher authorities: Listen to them carefully, and try to question yourself, about their statement. Remember, they are more experienced then us, so do what they suggest
having fun: Research is a fun and it should be done with full of enjoyment
Meticulous: Always have a record of your work, be neat and tidy in the work place.
This is an ABCD.............. of the research, I have learnt till now. I feel that this follows through out the life of researcher

I am an Abecedarian
It has been since long that I was not on the blog. I thought of various topics, but could not find a suitable one. Today when I was working on the Thin films, during a scientific discussion, I made some of the silly mistakes, which was pointed out by my Director. Its not that only me, but many science students do, as they are not clear in the concepts. and hence this blog today.
1. I spelled %T, it is actually a transmission only , as transmittence is measured in %, hence it is not scientific to spell as %T
2. I talked about the crystal formation in the solution, which were actually particles. Director told me that these are particles, not crystals. In regular
fashion, if we can get crystals, then the chemical industries would have become a multi millionare by now. Again the same blunder!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Later on I recalled what other blunders I made during my college life, here are few examples,
2. While teaching the students, I taught them about a species concept which defines as a living organism which is reproductively isolated. In its nomenclature, it is a binomial system. Consider for example, Mangifera indica ( botanical name of Mango, Indian fruit). As per the rules, Mangifera is generic name, while indica is a species, but indica is also an epithete which descibes its characteristic that it is of Indian origin ( Indica refers to latinized pattern of Indian origin), I am not sure how only an epithete can alone be a species, is it not Mangifera indica as a whole is Species name? Does anybody have answer of this question?
3. While I was interviewd recently for my current job, I was asked a question about my dissertation, as I worked on RAPD Technique. I was told that which RAPD Marker was used ( Actually it was my blunder that I spelled out RAPD marker instead of RAPD technique). To my fortune, I was clicked with the difference between RAPD Marker and RAPD Technique, and I was able to defend my statement.
These are the small things which we generally lack and hence remain poor in basics. So I am activley conscious before addressing anything in the scientific discussion. I hope by reading these , you will save yourself from such idiotic blunders

Who is a Good Teacher

In Sanskrit,teacher has been pictured as "GURU" which literally means a disspeller of darkness or one who shows the path of Light from dark ( tamaso ma jyotirgamay). These definitions are, how far have been justified by the faculties with their interest in teaching and research; is an aspect to be thought of. I have seen many teachers during school and college days who either used to sleep in the class or were not showing any interest in the teaching. If at all they were forced to teach, then they used to make us read us lessons, but never make us to understand. Tell me should we think of such great !!!!!!!!!!! one as our idol?
When I entered in College, I realized that some teachers are really dedicated to their profession. They go out of their way to help the students in every manner. Subsequently students are also devoted to their committment too. But since past two years, scenario has changed. Teachers are neither creative nor students are committed to their work and profession. In this context, how a teacher can be a torch bearer or a GURU in real sense?
Can you please opine me, how to be a torch bearer?

Where are Pure Sciences

Since the evolution of the human being to till date, the eras are divided into many different ages, starting from Stone Age to Computer age( 20th Century). The 21st Century has been declared as Biological Century.
Our Hon'ble Chief Minister has quoted
BT+ BT= BT: Bharat Today+ Biotechnology= Bharat Tomorrow
This is a cornerstone of Biotechnology in India at present.Everywhere is a Biotechnology Boom.
It not only reflects the society's trend to follow a monotonous path, but it presurizes the youth to be in the competition of such issues where even if they do not desire, they are forced to opt such subjects. Why? just because Biotechnology Karega to bahut accha hai", abhi iske chances bahut hai, agar mere bete ne Biotechnology nahi padhi to vo kya kamayega.This is the mentality of the parents, as they force their children to opt such subjects in which they do not show interest.
I am writing this article, just because I am a Biotechnologist by profession and I have faced seen such faces of my students.
Biotechnology colleges are mushrooming to such an extent, that it has become a business, with high financial rate.
My undergraduateion was in Botany, strange the condition, I was initially a single student in Botany in the University who was interested to opt.
That condition moved me a lot. Why students are not ready to opt for the Pure Sciences as a career. I agree that they are looking for such careers which helps them to earn a better profession, comfortable lifestyle and easy money.
Pure Sciences does not involve such factors, rather then it asks for the mere dedication in the research and an average life style.
If you look at the history, you will find that all the Noble Laureates had their hard life in the research. Madam Marie Curie and Pieere Curie had set up their laboratory in the milking parlour.
Some of the reasons I concluded during my academic and professional career are as follows:
---- Old syllabus pattern
---- Lack of interest by the teachers in teaching
---- Students own hatred towards the subject

I question my self, how it is possible to cater oneself in the realm of reality, when we are burdening ourselves with the countless Karmas of corporate world?

But I am sure for one thing, Jatak irrespective of its "Karmas" tends yo meet the Supreme Reality one day. It is an eternal truth , once Jatak has entered in the Karma Chakra, it has to perform the task of Karmas irrespective of its type" Satva", "Rajas" and "Tamas". Depending on the Karma type, Jatak gets absorbed in an ultimate reality!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEATH
I met one lady, when I was an under-graduate student, by age she was in early 40’s, in the small town of Gujarat. I came to know, she has just come out of her KASTHAMAUN. In this, saints remain in the SAMADHI AVASTHA for long time (up to several years) without food, water and any type of other biological activities. Is it possible for our type of ordinary people?
This incidence made me to write few lines.

SHUDHH HINDI BOLO NA
During my school days, we used to study..........Hindi' s some of the ever great poems of Subhadra Kumari Chauhan "Jhansi Ki Rani", Surya Kant Tripathi "Nirala" and many more. Our Hindi teacher, taught us very well, explaining the meanings of each term in "SHUDHH HINDI". When I was in 7th Std., my Hindi teacher was teaching one lesson (I forgot the title), in between she described the term "TRAIN". Being a very keen student to learn Hindi, I innocently pointed out "Madam, Train word to English ka origin hai",aap kyun usa use kar rahe ho, shudhh Hindi bolo na". To my ladyluck, I was not kicked out of the class, rather she kept things in her mind, and started explaing in shudhh Language.
