“IN THE ANIMAL, THE MAN WAS SUPPRESSED, BUT AS SOON AS THE DOOR WAS OPENED, OUT RUSHED MAN. SO IN MAN THERE IS POTENTIAL GOD KEPT IN BY THE LOCKS AND BARS OF IGNORANCE. WHEN KNOWLEDGE BREAKS THESE BARS, THE GOD BECOMES MANIFEST. AND THERE IS NOTHING UNDER THE SUN, WHICH AN AWAKENED SOUL CANNOT ACHIEVE. THE NEED IS TO AWAKEN THE HIGHER SELF, THE GOD, IN MAN”
(from :Raja yoga)
While reading “Ignited Minds” by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, in the very first chapter ‘The Dream and the Message’, he has mentioned about the five different stages of the individual’s life. By quoting Dr. Wayne W. Dyer ‘ s “Manifest Your Destiny”. It talks about the different stages viz.
Athlete Stage
Warrior Stage
Big brother stage
Self Realization stage
The first Athlete stage embarks the individual’s energetic performance and achievements.
Warrior stage depicts the proud state of an individual for its own achievements and always tries to make prove itself far more superior then others. During this, the individuals remain busy for achieving the goals, which generates anxiety.
Big brother stage depicts with the maturity of an individual, which transforms from a self-ego to the Nation’s patriotism and a passion for the Nation
Above all is the Self Realization stage which once again transforms from state of nation’s realization to the Global realization - “VASUDHEV KUTUMBKAM”– I DO NOT BELONG TO SINGLE NATION, THE EARTH IS MY HOME AND ITS PEOPLE AND ARE MY FAMILY. If a person achieves this stage, he is no longer remain in the himself, he sees himself as a part of the world, where he will perform all the tasks in germane to the human welfare.
In this competitive and self centered world, we the Youth are required to think, at what stage we belong to , should we still remain within ourselves, just to be a slave of our mind , do we like to continue what our mind directs OR we wish to awaken the HIGHER SELF WITHIN US, THE GOD IN HUMAN TO FOLLOW “VASUDHEV KUTUMBKAM”.
Similarly, true holds for the Nation as well. Swami Vivekananda has said
“ 03 things are necessary to make every man great, every nation great. (1) Conviction of the powers of goodness, (2) absence of jealousy and suspicion and (3) Helping all who are trying to be and do well.
The above quotation surpasses the warrior stage and directly leads the nation to the Big brother. Already India has proud for its achievements in the IT Sector, Science and Technology, our ancient civilization. What is required is now the transformation from Big brother to Self- Realization Stage. But it can be possible when
THE FAITH IN OURSELVES WILL BE REAWAKENED
To regenerate this faith , we must reawaken our higher self, which will ultimately transform our Nation to self Realization stage.
Hence , by an integrated approach of every national, the country can be put to a height of Self Realization Stage.

"Who am I?"
Hello Friends,
Perhaps WHO AM I is the most confusing question to search for our own identity.During my sophomere and furher at graduation I realised about my existence on this earth. Perhaps I'm just an actor on this world stage to act and then to depart .No this is not the case, .Eventhough, Charles Darwin has propounded the existence of best adapetd species, I believe that every species on the earth has its own significance, irrespective of its knowledge to humans. I once read about the famous Indian Saint Ramana Maharshi who answered above narrated question "AHAM BRAHMASMI". It means that I'm brahma. Every living and non-living object in the world consists of Brahma and is a part of Brahma, the final supreme authority to govern the world. Hence, according to him, even a microscopic non-living matter has a significance. Nothing goes waste in the nature. Famous Gujarati bhajan wrote by Narsinh Mehta reveals " Tej ma tatva tu" ( tatva does not refer to any corporeal material-it is the essence and gist of the soul). When a person will start looking at himself as AHAM BRAHMASMI or when he'll realize about his own gist of soul, then only he can answer " WHO AM I"?
Can you suggest me a better option for searching my own or yourselve's identity?
